Formentera is the smallest and most precious jewel of the Balearic Islands.

It is extremely close to Ibiza, the only place from which Formentera can be reached, but it is diametrically opposed to it in many ways, above all for its wild appearance and the feeling of peace you can breathe almost everywhere. Thanks to uncontaminated coasts and natural resources such as SesSalines park, the island has been declared natural heritage of UNESCO.

Formentera beaches are extraordinary, among the best in the Balearic Islands. They can be popular as Illentes o Llevant, or quieter and secluded as Cala Saona, PlayaMitjorn and s'Espalmador, which can be reached only swimming or by boat. The white sand and clear water recall the atmosphere of the Caribbean.

The most interesting places to visit are La Savina, SantFerran, SantFrancesc Xavier, Es Pilar de la Mola, with its lighthouse on a steep cliff dropping down to the sea and the famous hippie market, and Es Pujols, the most attractive and appreciated destination in the isle, where mundane activities and entertainment concentrate. Formentera nightlife has a more refined and exclusive nature compared to the other islands, but this doesn’t mean it is less inviting.
