Caló d'es Morts

Caló d'es Morts

Between Platja de Migjorn and Es Ram there is a small sized and thin strip of land, which hosts a little rocky beach which looks like a real jewel of nature: Caló d'es Morts. It can be difficult to find the “little bay of the death”, it is important to pay attention and take a narrow street right before the built-up area of Mar y Land, which is very close. This place is surrounded by a marvellous natural context and a fantastic view, the water is so crystalline that seems literally transparent. The area is characterised by escars ( artisan boat-shed for little boats); in this area of Formentera naturism is very common as well. The only disadvantage is that, given that the beach is actually small sized (and it varies according to the tide), the available space fills up even if a small number of people enter the beach, so you might eventually turn back and make other plans.
